Peace Is Our Choice. Justice Is Our Mission. Unity Is Our Goal.
The Tigray Peace Force (TPF) reafirms its stead fast commitment to peace, justice, and the ruleof law across Tigray. We are guided by the principles of nonviolence, reconciliation, and the pursuit of solutions through inclusive dialogue not war. In the face of recent provocations particularly by militarized actors operating from Senaale we have chosen the path of restraint and responsibility.

We did not start this confrontation, and we refuse to be drawn into senseless internal conflict. Our actions have been praised by the people of Isra Adi, Wajirat, and surrounding areas for their discipline and measured response. Our comrades remain firm in the belief that peace is not merely our first option it is our only and final choice.

The Tigray Peace Force is a people-centered movement founded on the values of justice,equality, and human dignity. We categorically reject all forms of political favoritism, regional discrimination, and the manipulation of military institutions for partisan gain.We call on the Interim President of Tigray to urgently establish an inclusive and representative regional cabinet one that reflects the voices and needs of all Tigray’s zones. Only through fair governance and credible democratic processes can true stability return to our region.

Why We Took to the Mountains
Our decision to retreat to the mountains was not an act of rebellion it was a principled protest against the re-emergence of authoritarian forces that have betrayed the ideals of the Tigrayan struggle. We have returned to our communities not as aggressors, but as defenders of justice and peace. As the planting season begins, our people are focused on rebuilding their lives inpeace and so are we.
Let there be no misunderstanding:
The mission of the Tigray Peace Force is to secure lasting peace, resist tyranny, and restore the unity of the Tigrayan people.The greatest threat to this mission comes not from external enemies, but from a small clique within the military hierarchy particularly those entrenched in the so-called “Ademme-TPLF”faction, representative of the unaccountable TPLF “Above the Core” military elites whocontinue to harass, threaten, and attempt to suppress our peaceful resistance.

To our brothers and sisters in the TDF:Now is the time to reflect deeply on the future of our shared struggle. The path forward must beone of unity, democratic reform, and peaceful coexistence. We urge you to choose the side ofthe people not the remnants of a discredited war economy or authoritarian ideology.
