Association of Tinsae Abo Gereb Raya Rayuma Call for Fundraising Support
Dear Esteemed Members of Our Diaspora Community,
The Association of Tinsae Abo-Gereb Raya Rayuma (ATAGRR) is a national NGO registered in accordance with the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (1994), Civil Code Proclamation No. 165/1960, Article 404-482, and Proclamation No. 1113/2019,
which governs the registration and administration of societies and charities.
We operate at the national level, based in Tigray, and adhere to all relevant laws and directives, including Directive No. 938/2022.
ATAGRR is dedicated to the renaissance of the Abo-Gereb Institution of Raya Rayuma,
contributing to post-war peacebuilding, reconciliation, and development efforts in Tigray and neighboring regions deeply affected by conflict.
Our mission includes promoting customary
peace-making practices, values, and traditions of conflict resolution that transcend the limitations of formal state institutions. As a vital bridge among communities divided by war, ATAGRR aims to revitalize grassroots peacebuilding and reconciliation capabilities within the Tigray, Amhara, and Afar regions.
Currently, our founding members and board are actively engaged in fundraising activities to launch practical initiatives during this critical time. We seek to address the urgent need for stability and peacebuilding efforts in Tigray and surrounding areas.

We have to empower Association of Tinsae Abo Gereb Raya Rayuma ( ማሕበር ትንሳኤ ኣቦገረብ ራያ ራዩማ) to ensure sustainable peace.
The role & functions of Customary Dispute Resolution Mechanisms (CDRMs) in Raya Rayuma have been documented. Now is the time to support CDRMs as a means to ensure sustainable peace.We should not allow those who create chaos & manage chaos to interfere in the reconcilation process. Our Abogerbs & Debate are our best bet to help with the reconciliation process.
To ensure that they are not influenced by any interest groups, we all need to support the AboGereb Raya Rayuma to make them financially independent to do their work.
