Call for SOE to Prevent the Looming Bloodshed!

War is politics by other means, and Debretsion is waging one against his own people. Parts of the army leaders that endorsed the null and void conference are on an attack spree, allegedly firing on civilians resisting the illegal takeover of the administration. The million-dollar question is: what is he trying to achieve?
If his goal is a coup to reclaim power, the federal government has no mandate to negotiate with any faction. If TIRA is ousted, Tigray will be under siege—a direct violation of the Pretoria Agreement. If a side deal was made betewen the TDF Generals & the EDF to help Abiy annex Assab, the international community would be outraged. Either way, Tigray becomes the battleground.
There’s a less likely but possible scenario—overthrowing Abiy’s administration. Shabia and TPLF hardliners are cut from the same cloth, both willing to go to any length to preserve their power, even at the expense of their own people. But attempting to topple the federal government would be suicidal for the armed warlords. Regardless, the outcome remains the same: Tigray as the battleground. But WHY on your own people?
Tigray is pleading – For now, if I were in charge, I’d declare a State of Emergency immediately. There’s no faster way to prevent the looming bloodshed.
