EnoughIsEnough: A Call to Action Against the Gang of Four
To the people of Tigray—students, civic organizations, diaspora communities, and especially the
youth of Tigray:
This is a pivotal moment in our history. The fight for justice, freedom, and prosperity requires
bold action, clarity of purpose, and unwavering unity. The #EnoughIsEnough Campaign must
focus on the root cause of Tigray’s ongoing political and social crises: the failed leadership of
the Gang of Four—Debretsion Gebremichael, Alem Gebrewahid, Fetlework Gebregziabher
(Monjorino), and Getachew Assefa.
Why the Campaign Must Target the Gang of Four
- Political Bankruptcy
These leaders have plunged Tigray into political stagnation, lacking the vision, integrity, and
strategic capacity required to guide post-genocide Tigray.
Their failure to act decisively left Tigray unprepared for the genocidal war, resulting in immense
suffering and loss.
- Betrayal of Tigray’s Resistance Movement
They prioritized personal and party interests over the collective good, betraying the very
resistance they claimed to lead.
Their diplomatic, military, and logistical shortcomings crippled Tigray’s ability to defend itself and
resist oppression effectively.
- Sabotage of Recovery Efforts
They have actively obstructed the Interim Government’s initiatives to rebuild and stabilize Tigray.
By hindering the return of internally displaced persons (IDPs) and recovery programs, they
prolong the pain and suffering of the Tigrayan people. - Criminal Exploitation of Resources
The Gang of Four have exploited Tigray’s wealth through illegal gold mining operations,
enriching themselves while impoverishing the population. - Opposition to Post-Genocide Transformation
They resist institutional reforms, independence of civic systems, and the rise of young, visionary
Leaders who can bring change.
They actively oppose independent investigations into genocide-related crimes, fearing exposure
of their complicity.
- Suppression of Free Thought
They stifle dissent, suppress innovation, and silence diverse voices, denying Tigray the
intellectual dynamism necessary for progress.
Why We Must Act Now
The Gang of Four have held Tigray hostage with their corrupt, exploitative practices. They thrive
on division, fear, and exploitation, keeping the region trapped in a cycle of suffering. Removing
these criminal leaders is not just necessary—it is urgent. It is the greatest political achievementbwe can secure for Tigray’s future.
A Call to Tigray’s Youth
The youth of Tigray, you are the backbone of our nation and the torchbearers of a brighter
tomorrow. Rise with courage and conviction to demand justice, accountability, and leadership
that serves the people.

transformation.

To the Tigrayan diaspora: Your role in this movement is critical. Use your influence, resources,
and platforms to amplify the message.
Organize demonstrations, advocate with international
organizations, and expose the crimes of the Gang of Four. Your solidarity strengthens our
cause.
An Appeal to the TDF Leadership and Members
To the Tigray Defense Forces: You have been the shield of our people in their darkest hour.
Now, we call on you to align with the people’s movement. Join the #EnoughIsEnough Campaign
and stand alongside Tigray’s youth and civilians against the Gang of Four. Your support will
inspire courage and unity in this fight for justice.
