Press Release
Announcing the Formation Process of “Ye-abronet-Ethiopia”

We Unite; We Win!

Ethiopia is currently experiencing a deepening crisis marked by civil conflict and
the threat of economic collapse.

The authoritarian nature of the current
government, along with its aggressive posture, has undermined law and order,
placing the nation’s stability and cohesion at significant risk.

Although oppositiongroups are working to bring about change, they remain fragmented and lack the capacity to effectively challenge the regime. Without meaningful reform and greater unity among opposition forces, Ethiopia faces the danger of further deterioration and potential disintegration.
In recognition of this urgent situation and the limitations of existing political opposition, a group of concerned Ethiopians has formed a temporary committee to initiate a new approach to peaceful political advocacy.

Therefore, we are pleased to announce the launch of the formation process for “Ye-
abronet-Ethiopia”, a nonprofit civic organization.

This initiative is not a political
party and will not seek electoral office. Rather, it will serve as a pressure group focused on driving peaceful, meaningful political change in Ethiopia through civic engagement.

The mission of Ye-abronet-Ethiopia is to build a dynamic platform that fosters dialogue, negotiation, and nonviolent protest. It will promote collaboration among opposition forces based on shared national interests and encourage conflict resolution through inclusive and constructive round-table discussions.

In doing so, the organization seeks to strengthen the peaceful struggle, safeguard
Ethiopia’s existence, and help lay the foundation for a more equitable and
prosperous future.

In this defining moment, it is imperative that all Ethiopians, both within the country
and in the diaspora, regardless of ethnicity, religion, or ideology come together to
prevent further fragmentation.

Ye-abronet-Ethiopia calls upon all who share this vision and willing to work with us. We are particularly seeking the support of
individuals with expertise in legal and information technology fields to assist with
3the development and operation of the organization. Interested parties are invited
to reach out using the contact information provided below.

A draft project proposal outlining the goals and framework of Ye-abronet-Ethiopia
is attached for your review.

Thank you for your attention and commitment. We look forward to working together to create a brighter future for Ethiopia and its people.

Sincerely,
