Current statement the Office of Communication Affairs
The Ethiopian Press Agency (EPA) Tigrigna Language Department today reported that the Gondar-Humera road project connecting two Amhara regions is being repaired.
This act is not just a news report but a blatant constitutional violation by deliberately handing over the constitutional state of Tigray to Amhara Region.
This irresponsible act is unacceptable and in direct contravention of the Pretoria Convention as well and must be rectified immediately.
We call the Ethiopian Press Agency to immediately correct the irresponsible and offensive news report submitted by the Tigrinya Language Department and take action against the authors of this news.
