The Tigray Construction Road and Transport Bureau has announced that there is no body or system that prevents young people from using the air transport service from Mekele to Addis Ababa.
The head of the office, Ms. Almaz Gebre Tsadiq, said that it was meant to give priority to those with diseases, pregnant women and the elderly, not to prevent young people from using air traffic, Tigray Television reported.
According to the report, a legal tariff has been issued for public service vehicles, especially city taxis, following the start of fuel supply to the region.
It is stated that the issued tariff will be implemented from today, January 5th, and it is indicated that land transport from Tigray to the center of the country and from the center of the country to Tigray will also be started soon.
It is remembered that for various reasons, other citizens in the region, including the residents of Addis Ababa, who were heading to Tigray from Addis Ababa, booked tickets to come from Mekele to Addis Ababa, but their journeys were canceled.
