According to the synod, preparations are being made to name people from Gambella, Gumuz, Sidama, Gurage, Gamo and other ethnic groups of Ethiopia.
The Synod also stated that spiritual training is being given in monasteries.
Information obtained from the new Synod of the Orthodox Tewahedo Church indicates that the system will be reorganized soon.
In the same news, it was heard that February 17, 2023, in the city of Washington, DC, in the United States, has been scheduled to hold a support rally for the new Synod.
The organizers have called for the residents of Washington DC and the surrounding area who want to support the newly established Synod of the Orthodox Tewahedo Church to attend the rally.
A similar rally will be held in front of the US Department of State on February 17, 2023, according to Rev. Samuel Jebesa, chairman of the organizing committee for the new North American Synod.
It is said that preparations are being made to hold similar support demonstrations in Minnesota and European countries.
