The former head of the Amhara region, Gedu Andargachew, was abducted by the security forces. Ato Gedu Andargachew was kidnapped today around 5:00 pm near Kera Bulgaria. When Ato Gedu moved around Bulgaria for work, he was intercepted and searched by the security forces. Ethio Forum reported that after kidnapping Mr. Gedun, they took away all the documents from his cell phone, laptop, and car.
