Water facilities in conflict affected areas need to be rehabilitated and maintained to provide safe and clean water for the community.
The ICRC has donated and installed 49 hand pumps so far in Gulomekeda woreda, Eastern zone,Tigray region.
As the report of the Tigray water buerua stated that more than 85 percent of water infrasture in Tigray has been looted and destroyed by the Eritrean,Ethioian soldiers and Fano militant groups.
