United State of America Appointed new Ambassador to Ethiopa.
Newly appointed United States Ambassador to Ethiopia Ambassador Ervin Massinga presented his credentials to President Sahle-Work Zewde yesterday.
Ambassador Massinga is a career member of the U.S. Senior Foreign Service.
Prior to his appointment to Ethiopia, Ambassador Massinga served as the U.S. State Department’s Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Bureau of African Affairs.
‘’I pledge my energy, creativity, and unflagging efforts on improving the relations between the U.S. and Ethiopia. I cannot promise perfection, but you’ll have everything I can give,’’ Ambassador Massinga said in his swearing speech in Washington D.C.on September 27.
