A $46 million program, implemented by Save the Children

  A $46 million program, implemented by Save the Children and partners in  Amhara and other regions of Ethiopia, the US embassy Addis Ababa reported.

Here is the verbatim of the report

“To improve the lives of children across Ethiopia who have experienced trauma due to conflict and drought, Deputy Administrator Paloma Adams-Allen joined Ambassador Massinga and Professor Berhanu Nega, Minister of Education, to celebrate the one year anniversary of the joint project funded by  and the Lego Foundation.

This $46 million program, implemented by Save the Children and partners in Amhara, Afar, Tigray, Oromia, and Somali, uses play-based learning to benefit children’s life-long development.

USAID is grateful to the Ministry of Education and regional education bureaus for their close collaboration and partnership to provide access to education for children in the conflict affected areas.”
