9th International Congress of ‘Skin on the Move’ is underway in Mekelle reviewing the health situation of Tigrai during and post-war
Today marks the commencement of the 9th International Congress of ‘Skin on the Move’ in Mekelle Tigrai, a collaborative effort between #Tigrai_Health_Research_Institute, International Medical University & Institute of Medicine of Science (IISMAS), #UNICAMILLUS, and #Tigrai_Health_Bureau. The workshop aims to delve into the health landscape of #Tigrai spanning from 2020 to 2024, reviewing the prevailing health situation in #Tigrai during and after the war.
Distinguished experts from various fields are gathered to present their research and findings, with a particular focus on global health, tropical diseases, and war induced health ramifications in #Tigrai.
Over the course of the next two days, attendees will have the opportunity to visit key healthcare facilities, including the #IDP’s clinic at Sebea Kare #IDP_center, #Tigrai_Health_Research_Institute, and #Ayder_Comprehensive_Specialized_Hospital. These visits are integral to gaining firsthand insights into the healthcare infrastructure and services available amidst the ongoing recovery process in #Tigrai.
The #International_Congress holds significant importance in fostering collaboration, sharing knowledge, and devising effective interventions to address the evolving health needs of the population in the war-torn #Tigrai.
