Tigray Interim Regional Administration Releases Additional 100 Prisoners of War
Today, the Tigray Interim Regional Administration (IRA) announced the release of an additional 100 prisoners of war, according to a statement issued by the Tigray Communication Bureau.
This follows yesterday’s release of 112 prisoners of war by amnesty.
The decision to release these additional prisoners of war comes in alignment with the ongoing efforts to implement the Pretoria Agreement, following the AU Strategic Reflection Meeting on March 11, 2024.
The Tigray IRA reaffirms its commitment to the agreements made during the trilateral discussions and expresses hope for reciprocal actions from the federal government on Friday
