The Ethiopian Investment Commission is holding a consultation forum with federal, regional and city administration investment executives in Mekelle City.
During the meeting, the President of the Interim Administration of Tigray regional state Getachew Reda, made welcome speech and called for the strengthening of support for the restoration of investment infrastructure and services affected by the security crisis in the region.
Subsequently, the Commissioner of the Investment Commission, Hanna Arayaselassie, reviewed the major activities of the past 9 months, identifying and correcting deficienciesSpeaking on the discussion and field visit, Deputy Dagato Kumbe said that all efforts should be made to improve the investment environment and ensure investment efficiency.
At the forum, the implementation of the Commission’s 2016 9-month plan and the best practiced Tigray and Oromia regions in various activities presented their own experiences.
