The Tigray national parties have been informed in writing of the bureaus they will be assigned to lead in the interim administration to be established.
An unsealed letter signed by Lt. Gen. Tadesse Woreda was sent to Tigray Indeoendence party(TIP) Salsay woyane Tigray(Sawet) and Baitona yesterday.
Our sources said the letter also concerns them to announce their reply today.
The TIPis assigned to lead the 1) Bureau of Industry and 2) Bureau of Culture and Tourism. The responsibilities assigned to the Sawet will be to lead 1) Science and Technology and 2) Social Affairs.for Baitona wanted to hold 1) the Bureau of Water Resources and, 2) the Bureau of Roads and Transportation.
It is not known what the parties’ response will be. However,they did not attend the conference saying that the establishment of the Organizing Committee is illegal and the establishment of the Interim Administration is not being carried out in a manner that meets the aspirations and needs of Tigray.
The TPLF has been given the presidency of the interim government and will head nine bureaus. The TPLF has not yet announced who the president is.
