The Kenyan capital-Nairobi celebrated Ashenda 2015 in a grand manner.
The festival was organized by the “Deki Eno Tigray” association.
The participants said that Tigray, which was badly affected by the genocidal war against the people of Tigray, was brought out of its present state by our unity and harmony.
The celebration also conveyed a message urging Tigrayans to preserve their culture and language which are the expression of our identity wherever they are.
Ashenda was celebrated in the presence of hundreds of guests at the Amrakuba refugee camp in eastern Gedarif province.
