The severe social crisis caused by the war in Tigray is very serious and requires immediate response, said Patrice Yosef, Africa Regional Director of the International Red Cross Society.
Patrice Yosef, the African director of the World Red Cross Society, said yesterday that he visited health facilities in Mekelle.
The director said that he is happy that peace has been established in Tigray, however, what we have seen in Tigray, we have felt that the health facilities are desolate, and we have realized that people who are suffering from a terrible humanitarian crisis need immediate help.
