Tigrain diaspora and visitors from all over the world are flowing to attend Ashenda celebration in Tigrai.
The visitors say they were desperate to meet their family and loved ones as they didn’t celebrate Ashenda over the past three years due to Covid 19 and the war that followed.
The guests add they are very happy to celebrate the festival for the first time after the peace agreement.
The visitors underscore Ashenda has to be capitalized to ensure justice and accountability for the victims of the Tigrai war.
The celebrants also stressed on the healing and recovery of Tigrian women who were denied their rights for the last three years.
