Belgium Ambassador to Ethiopia, HE Stefaan Thijs paid a visit in Mekelle University.
Vise president for Acadamics of Mekelle University, Dr. Abdulkadir Kedir, in his welcoming speech to the ambadssador, extended his appreciation to the longstanding support of the people of Belgium to Mekelle University. He also called the Ambassador to work hard in reconnecting the longstanding collaboration between MU and the Belgium universities.
HE Ambassador Stefaan, after his visiting in Ayder Comprehenssive Hospital and the College of Veterinary Sciences, on his part underlined that he will strive hard in restoring and further strengthing the collaboration between Mekelle University and the Belgian Universities. Besides, he called MU scholars to focus their efforts on peace promotion and reconciliation.
