In a launching workshop, imagine 1 day has announced the launching of 232 million project aimed at increasing access to protective and inclusive learning opportunities for crisis affected vulnerable group in Tigrai.
In the welcoming speech by National Program Director of imagine 1 day in North Ethiopia, Halefom Gezae gave an overview of imagine 1 day’s contribution in alleviating the challenges of the people of Tigrai pre, during and post war times.
In the workshop, Education Specialist and Cluster Coordinator in UNICEF, Dearblha Egan has also stressed on the importance of these projects in addressing the problems of crisis affected children, girls, women and people with disability.
Head of Tigrai Bureau of Education, Dr. Kiros Guesh recalls the devastating impact the war has left on the people of Tigrai and children, girls, women and people with disability in particular. The head reiterates the significant impact these kind of projects will have to the people of Tigrai.
